Portable Conductivity Measuring Instrument CM 1
Description
This
portable battery-operated measuring instrument has an
electronic circuit which measures and displays directly and
with high precision the value of conductivity in mS (millisiemens).
The
integrated temperature compensation circuit converts
automatically the value of conductivity measured in the
entire temperature area into a reference temperature of 25
degrees centigrade.
The
immersion sensor of the device is provided with a 1.2 m long
connection cable and a plug according to DIN standards. The
connection point of the cable on this sensor is hermetically
sealed.

Operation

Put the plug of the sensor in the DIN plug receptable on the back of the casing. Plug and receptable are designed in a way polarity cannot be confused. Don't exert pressure when inserting the plug. |
| - | Immerse the sensor in the liquid. Make sure the feeler does not get in touch with heating elements. |
| - | Turn the knob in position "ON". On the display you see now the conductivity measuring value in mS (1 Siemens = 1000 mS). |

After measuring turn the knob back in position "OFF". To save battery power don't turn on the device unless for measuring and switch it off immediately after it. |
| - | Rinse the sensor carefully with clear water after using! |
